Old Butter Factory, Bellingen
The place where heritage, history and great food collide, the heritage listed Butter Factory is situated on the eastern side of Bellingen, a 25 minute drive from Coffs Harbour along the Waterfall Way or approximately 30 minutes from the beautiful Dorrigo National Park escarpment. Starting out as a butter factory in 1906, you can still see remnants of its history situated around the site which is also home to a number of retail spaces and local gallery. A popular venue for parties and weddings, the Butter Factory has a lot to offer its patrons including an old truck and even a few cows.
